Last night was the last time I get to see a free movie at Harbourfront this summer. It was Say Anything and was pretty much the most magical movie I've seen there to date.
Friends and fans alike gathered together to obsess about Joe, listen to some great 80s music and to, of course, swoon over Lloyd. There was a group of girls who knew the film word for romantic word, and recited some of the most heart fluttering parts.
When Lloyd lifted his boom box over his head, pushing through his heartache, a genius couple sitting in the stand lit sparklers and passed them through the crowd. With the waves behind our heads, tiny rays of light swaying right to left and a movie love interest that continuously moved forward, we had romance surrounding us.
