The bottom of my pants are dripping and my hair is a little wavy on the ends. It's raining. And it's windy. Il ne fait pas sec.
I love days like this. Waking up to the sounds of droplets of water knocking on my window invite me to have a day of nostalgia. Rain has always seemed romantic to me, bringing forth emotions that are best found in a Jane Austin novel. Minus the pride. And the prejudice. Double the sensibility.
The facts of my French Oral exam, my 8am lecture, and my evening shift at work has been rained over and become a little hazy. What I see is floral umbrellas, shiny raincoats, splashing puddles and lovers huddled in bus stops.
So, instead of letting your frizzy hair and prickly arms ruin your Friday, let the dampness of the day rainbow over any negativity you may have. TGIF.
